Hi toghether,
I got my Octagon sf1018 one week ago. It´s a nice device with some interesting features but some Points of the Box did not match with the advertisement.
So i´m really not sure if i will keep the device.
One problem i have is as following:
Before i start to capture the Network traffic maybe one of this forum can help me
I like to mount a NAS and the mount is successfull. i´m able to browse the Folder, i can see jpgs, mp3s, avi, etc. With write access i can add Folders, i´m allow to put *.ts files. If i try to access the files on the NAS, sf1018 will stop immidiately the playback. In case of jpgs, mp3s i see the window "open files" and nothing more. In case of avis (xvid) i see "stop playback" and the device switch back to TV. I need to restart the sf1018 because the TV picture will be black anyway what i´m doing.
If i mount a Windows share with the same set of files I can mount it, browse it, play the files etc.
So is there must be a difference between the way a NAS is offering files via samba or windows will offer a share ...
any ideas?
thanks
