Normally the additional BIDI Support for arabic font isn´t compiled in, because for other fonts Neutrino has a little bit lower Performance.
Do what I wrote: look at the example arabic.locale, translate in same way a new one from english.locale as base.
And I will find a way to compile in the BIDI Support.

My friend you know I tried to translate to english. Local and change Arabic and when I used this file the system hid all arabic words but in file all good I think that impossible to used Arabic language but I try and try

I mean inside Arabic.local everything is perfect but inside system everything crazy not like what inside Arabic.local

BIDI = bi - directional - text Support.
If the text in locale is right > it makes possible to show it right in menus.
But i can´t read/write in arabic > therfore you must give me a complete translated arabic.locale

Just chose the font nmsbd.ttf and activate arabic language, then it works
But.....
the arabic.locale isn´t complete as I said before....
Complete it like the example, and all conversions: UTF8 to Unicode > Logical to Visual etc. will be done by Neutrino.

I mean when I record on fat32 USB flash the system can't record why ...? I want to record on USB fat32 system

Well:
first: it is a bad idea to use FAT32 for recording > because file size limit....
second: an USB flash pen ist mostly to slow for that....

But if you want do this....
In my Image:
put in your flash pen
start or restart the Receiver

You will find the mount in :
/mnt/usb/pen-Label-device (eg. : mypen-sda1)
or when no label is set on the pen:
/mnt/usb/NOLABEL-device (eg. : NOLABEL-sda1)

Then adjust in recording Settings the recording dir to this location and save it.
Now recording works.

Other easy way:
Put the Label RECORD ( capital letters !!) on your flash pen, in main directory the folder movie.

After a start it will be automaticly mounted on /hdd, and the preselectet setting for recording dir ( /hdd/movie ) will work at once

Another easy way:
Put in your USB pen drive
In settings menu select : data storage.
There you find your pen drive under the line 'Manage Settings' > select it.
Select file system ext2 ( prefered for slow USB pens > best performance ).
Label = RECORD ist preselected.
And do the formatting ( CAUTION: all old data will be lost )
After that: the pen drive has all needed Folders, is mounted on /hdd and is usable for recording with the default recording dir settings.

vfat (FAT32) formatting is not implemented, and will never be.
this must be done by PC....

About NTFS:
The Linux-Kernel (read-only) ntfs driver is integrated.
The limited write support isn´t activated, because it´s useless.
( see Linux-Kernel ntfs driver documentation for write support)

If you plug in a ntfs formatted drive > restart box, you will find it in : /mnt/usb/.....
Playing movies from drive is possible, but no writing to it.

Also you may use the open source ntfs-3g driver.
Just type in Telnet terminal:
ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/hdd
Where:
/dev/sda1 assumed to be your hard disc
/mnt/hdd is the useable mountpoint > there is the access to your disc drive

Then you may read or write to it, but.....!!!! > the speed is very, very low and only usefull for one SD recording at a time, not for HD
Also there is no automatism: for using: you must mount it by your own, eg. adding a line in rcS.

Softcams are not part of the Image but you can use and start them:
Put the binary files in : /var/emu
and the config files in /var/keys
The handling of configs : it´s your turn.
Then loók in "Extra Options" menu > you may start them.

Hint:
there is no cccam for SH4 : all are fakes, and work bad.
Use oscam and use in config: boxtype = dreambox.

Hallo DboxOldie,ich habe mir mal erlaubt, das Image auf meiner Triplex zu testen, und bin sehr erfreut! Vor allem wird meine Festplatte, korrekt gelabelt, fest eingefunden und fliegt nicht nach jedem Neustart wieder raus.
2 Fragen hätte ich noch:
1. Insbesondere bei HD-Sendern habe ich den Eindruck, dass sich wie ein leichter Grau-Schleier über das Bild legt. Der ist erst nach diversen Bildeinstellungen etwas zu "lichten". Liegt das an Treibern? Kann man da noch etwas dagegen tun?
2. Was ist "localetv"? Wie muss man das einrichten?
