Hello!

Can you please make a plugin for Xpeed LX to change MAC. I have two of such tuners and have a problem that both has the same mac address.

Hi,

you can wait if the next build is running again and update your box, or you can install the attached .pyo file to your box.
Place this file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/ and overwrite the exiting one.

Hi,

I have changed the file in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/ which you attached, but currently if I go menu newtwork => device setup the reciever restarts enigma by errors.

I have already tried all enigma2 images, but all shows the same MAC not as mentioned on the tuner's sticker.

Hi,

After some restarts I could go into network menu => device setup and could see menu network MAC setting. So, I have change MAC to the MAC address which I have on the tuner's sticker, but after reboot the adapter setting shows IP = n/a

Both of your STb have same MAC-Adresse?

Then you don't have flash the new bootloader because with this one, have every LX a seperate MAC.

Hi,

Yes, both boxes has same MAC address and as a result I have a conflict in the router with getting IP address.

How should I flash these boxes to have different MAC address? In case I have 3 or 4 boxes - how could I get different MAC address on all boxes?

The change of file NetworkSetup.pyo gave the result that I have got an additional menu of network MAC setting where I could change the mac address of the box, but unfortunately after changing the mac address I couldn't get the IP address ( it looks like network adapter is down).

Flash new Bootloader at all Xpeed.
This should fix the problem.

Thank you very much! All boxes have its own original mac address as mentioned on the stickers! :danke:
