kann mir jemand kurz erläutern was "superiptv server" ist?

OK,

nach dem ich immer noch nicht wirklich schlauer bin, habe ich mich mal auf die Suche gemacht:

was sich für mich, wie von elan@work schon erwähnt als PayTV (englisch) darstellt (wer es braucht)

Dann habe ich bei den Spark-Fans folgendes gefunden:
"Spark will add Super Iptv function from 1.2.64 version .You can downolad the super iptv server from here: xxxx, it already include doc for how to build server and how to use at client side."
und nun stehe ich vor der Frage, warum muss ich einen Server Aufbauen? Hat dann wohl nichts mit dem gleichnamigen PayTV zu tun....

Dann habe ich, zwar noch für die 1, folgende Installationsanweisung gefunden:
"This is just the preview version of SuperIptv server, do not use it for production.

please check the following step before run the start.sh
1.pls make sure, that the SuperIptv.tar.gz is decompressed in ‘/spark’ dir, DON’T change this path!
2.please install mysql server, and set ‘root’ account’s password to ’123456′,
reference below cmd, import the ‘/spark/SuperIptv/build/superiptv_mysql.sql’ to it.
drop database webtv;
CREATE DATABASE webtv DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;
GRANT ALL ON webtv.* TO root@’localhost’ IDENTIFIED BY ’123456′;
USE webtv;
SOURCE superiptv_mysql.sql;
show procedure status;
3.run the ‘/spark/SuperIptv/build/install.sh’ script to install the software needed.

Wenn das bei der aktuellen immer noch so ist, dann mal viel Spaß...
Viel schlauer bin ich aber immer noch nicht...
Und erweckt bei mir den Eindruck, als könne ich (???unter Spark???, glaube kaum, das mysql auf Spark läuft, aber weiß mans???) damit mir einen eigenen Streaming-Server aufbauen (wie und wozu auch immer....)


Dann bin ich noch über folgendes gestolpert:

The client is now easy. Spark put it into 1.2.64 which is why you see "Super IPTV" on the menu. For previous testing the Super IPTV Client was a plugin we put on test units. To further make it simple, "client" means the receive point software, i.e. what customers need to have in order to receive "Super IPTV".

Super IPTV is nothing new for Amiko Americas. It does almost exactly what Americas owners have had for a long time; WebTV2 and GUI based VOD (Video On Demand) services. We can configure Super IPTV to give you pretty little icons for live IPTV channels or movies, exactly like the Americas WebTV2, VOD, and Singularity Apps do.

With Super IPTV you must have someone running a server for the content. This is why the new Super IPTV asks you for a server address that you must enter. At this time Amiko Americas is not using Super IPTV. We have no reason to since we've offered the same options to A1/A2 owners for a long time. Amiko Europe (Karmacom/Edictum) also chooses to not use this option at this time.

As it sits right now Amiko Americas has no use for "Super IPTV" since we gave you guys apps that do the same thing. We're not going to deploy the basic Spark version of our systems at this time.

If we or Karmacom/Edictum chose to deploy on Super IPTV in the future you guys will have simple step by step instructions or more likely it will just be made to work in a Spark Online Upgrade...."
