      ICE Installer V1.4 by KinkDink
For ICECRYPT S4000 HD PVR, OCTAGON S1018HD PVR and other Fortis.

      -------------------------------------
      Firmware Requirements
      -------------------------------------
      V1.07.94 or above.

      -------------------------------
      Installer Instructions
      -------------------------------
First, get the IP address of your receiver. To do this:
Press Menu --> Installation --> Network Settings --> change DHCP off and then ON

You will then get an IP number.

Unzip all the files including all the folders in this zip to your local HDD.
Be sure to tick the box "Use Folder Names" or "Extract Full Paths" depending on your Zip Utility.
File structure should look like this on your Hard Disk after unzipping.

      ICE_Installer.exe
      README.txt
      CCcam (folder)
      incubusCamd (folder)
      Xcam (folder)
      Mcas (folder)
      SoftCam (folder)

If you don't see the folders then you've unzipped the files incorrectly.

      Editing CCcam.cfg Instructions for CCcam
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit the CCcam.cfg file in the /CCcam/var/keys folder and add your C line.
Use a suitable text editor like notepad to do this then save the file.

Example, to add a C Line you'd enter the following

      C: server_address.com port username password

To make it simpler, lets say:
      my server URL is server_address.com
      My port number is 12000
      My username is: kinkdink
      My password is: satdudez

My C Line would look like this in CCcam.cfg

      C: server_address.com 12000 kinkdink satdudez

      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Editing cardclient.conf Instructions for Xcam
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit the cardclient.conf file in the /Xcam/var/etc folder and add your C line.
Use a suitable text editor like wordpad to do this then save the file.

Example, to add a C Line you'd enter the following

      cccam2:server_address.com:Port-number:0/0/0:username:Password

To make it simpler, lets say:
      my server URL is server_address.com
      My port number is 12000
      My username is: kinkdink
      My password is: satdudez

My C Line would look like this in cardclient.conf

      cccam2:server_address.com:12000:0/0/0:kinkdink:satdudez

      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Editing incubusCamd.conf file for incubusCamd
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit the incubusCamd.conf file in the /incubusCamd/var/keys folder and add your C line.
Use a suitable text editor like wordpad to do this then save the file.

Let's assume someone has sent you a C line in CCcam format and you want to convert that line to work in incubusCamd.conf file.
      C: cs_server.com 12000 username password no { 0:0:2 }

      csserver.com is the server domain
      12000 is the port number
      username is obvious
      password is obvious
      no is don't share emu

To convert that line to work with incubusCamd you'd enter the line like this in incubusCamd.conf

      card_server_url=cccam://username:Password @ csserver.com:12000

NOTE:- in the above example remove the spaces before and after the @

      --------------------------------------------------------------
      Updating SoftCam.Key when required
      --------------------------------------------------------------
To keep your SoftCam.Key file up to date simply download the latest SoftCam.Key file from the Internet and
unzip the SoftCam.Key file to the /SoftCam folder where the Ice Installer program resides.
Then enter the IP address of your receiver in the IP Address box and click on the Update SoftCam.Key button to transfer
      the file to the receiver.

      ----------------------------------------------
      Installing the files Instructions
      ----------------------------------------------

      Now run the ICE_Installer.exe application.

Enter the IP address of your ICECRYPT S4000HD or OCTAGON SF1018HD Receiver into the IP Address box.
Unless you have changed the password of your receiver leave the password box blank.
If you have added a password to your receiver then enter that password into the password box.
Click on the INSTALL button to FTP the files to the Receiver.

When all files have successfully transferred, power off the receiver (power switch on the back)
      to reboot, then power on.

      In Receiver Menu:

Press Menu --> Utilities --> CAS --> OK Button
      Switch internal card reader OFF.

      Reboot Receiver.
Press Menu --> Utilities --> CAS --> Plugin --> OK Button
You'll see the list of Plugins, cursor up or down to select your plugin
Press the Green Button to start the plugin.

      Job done.
