Sorry, this couldn't be the right description... there must be another name on the device...

I don't understand what your problem is, because this device isn't a WiFi-Stick to connect to your receiver...

Because this device isn't connected directly to your receiver it can't crash your receiver with a GreenScreen????

1. Witch STB (receiver) do you use?
2. Witch firmware do you use?
3. Witch WiFi-Dongle DIRECTLY AT the STB do you use (and not the AP or Router in your (W-)LAN) or do you use LAN-Cable to the AP (ZyXEL P-660HN-T1A) than your question/configuration is bullshit
4. Concrete at witch point you get the GS (at witch action)

At the "screencopy" I can only read: NO WIRELESS NETWORK CAN BE FOUND
