How to setup a simple softcam to read softcam.key file for 19.2 east hustler etc with HDF Team Image v1.1 18/06/2011

Hi can anyone give me idiot proof instructions on how to install a working softcam to use keys for viewing 19.2 and bulsat etc. I know how to ftp using idreamX app but can only get oscamymod to open bulsat etc but not hustler on 19.2 !! any help appreciated.

If you have oscam_ymod already installed and it works with bulsat you need current oscam.keys.

Thanks! In the past it opened 19.2 for about 30 seconds then the screen would freeze but now I dont even get that far and the only way I can keep oscam ymod going is to keep using the original key file, copying and pasting new keys from ones available online which is a bit time consuming ! I think 19.2 hustler encryption requires a different softcam. The oscam ymod is good for me in the sense that it downloads all thats needed and puts it where its needs to be without me needing to place extra files etc !

Theres two files Keys and emu

In usr I dont have keys but I do have usr/local/keys ?

I cant find or I dont have emu ! Should I create a folder within usr ?

no, the structur is from another image.

take only oscam.keys and copy/paste with yours.

Ok great its working but only for about 20 seconds ! Then if i restart the softcam it works again for 20 seconds ! Any ideas ?

I am not sure how to find out ! ? Its the one that you can download via the plugins menu. I have the HDF Team Image v1.1 18/06/2011 for ipbox 9900hd. Its just listed as oscam_ymod ?

I found this file /tmp/.oscam/oscam.version and it says under version: 1.00-unstable_svn-ymod18-t17 rev. 0

thanks but for some reason everything is in a different place on my image. I just found it in usr/local/bin. Theres actually two there !! one is called oscam.ymod_sh4 (683k) and one is called oscam_ymod (179B). I guess its the sh4 one so will try it now ! Fingers crossed !! Also I guess I should pick the latest oscam_ymod from the link ?? Not to sure!

Downloaded the latest oscam_ymod (oscam-ymod18-t39-sh4.tar.gz) deleted the old oscam_ymod after making a note of its file name and ftp'd the new file to the same location. changed the filename to the old one and gave it the permission code 755.
