Back to the OpenATV image ! witch is proven to be a perfect reliable one ! incredibly fast RC reactions , a complete download server , some 40 skins ! The download server is extremely slow ... 1-2 minutes wait for menu !!! In my opinion ... EVO E3HD will satisfy the user in all aspects ... price , performance and stability ! ... I hope !

Test with OpenHDF from 2.07.2013 ... the image was loaded, starts without problems ... the RC seems to be a little slow , the download server is working ... but didn't find my favorite skins , EMU is preinstalled and was a piece of cake to start it ... the decoding works fine ! Some plugins are compiled with wrong Python version ... download is a little slow. The Blue Panel is a pleasant surprise ! The image is OK but needs a little polishing ! anyway is a good start ! congrat's to the team !

Flashing the E3HD Enigma2 image ..... 1. Download the Factory Image 2. Unzip the downloaded file 3. Copy and paste the "e3hd" folder onto root of your USB stick 4. open the folder "e3hd", and you will find the file "noforce." You can change the name of the file to "force" 5. Rising the clock frequency cannot speedup the zapping !!! just can make the systen un stabile ! the zapping speed depend essentialy of ... tunner driver time necessary to hook-up the channel and time consumed by Oscam to start descrambling ! Tunner time does not depend of the clock !!! Yes you have right ... some of the skins are faster then other ... essentially Python ( skin interpretor language ) is the slower tool in the world ! so .. a complex skin means ... slow motion !

This error is a common one for both models ...7111 and 7162 ! and is a Bootloader error ! ... unfortunately has no software solution because the bootloader ... just dont start !!! The "00:00" display and time counting is automatic at power-up ... does not mean anything !

Unfortunately ...the image proved to be unstable ! staying 30 minutes on the same channel ... ( Sky Sport on Astra ) ...finished in artefacts and then .... total hangup ! Day by day , image by image , I have the believe that nobody cares at PKT if the generated image works or not ! a little betatesting is a good ideea !!!

Tnks for help ! but scanning DVB-C have problems : - automatic cable scan failed sistematicaly - manual scan works for 64Qam and 256Qam - 256Qam modus is not stable ... image artefacts EMU control problem !!! Autostart = on Is craching the system !!!

Well ... I had one week of tests ... some conclusions ! - Titan ufs910 inherits the basic Enigma2 ufs910 problem ... a poor tunner driver so poor that a lot of HD channels cannot be tunned ! ( Sky IT, Polsat, C+Thor ) - the image is fast ... faster then any other Enigma2 on ufs910 - the support server is satisfactory if you are using swap ! - the image is "as is" but who like this STB ... will like it ! - I dont like Netrino ! who like it ? beeing just a test platform ... so Titan is a good Enig…

Well ! I'm not jugging the morality of their decision ! I'm not aprooving it ! they bought from TitanNit a half of their work , the Titan and the suprastructure and are selling the TDT Enigma2 infrastructure as beeing their own !!! I'm just apreciate the quality of the result ! the technical performance itself ! for ufs910 is a new life ! the young days of an old receiver !

I want to use the combo DVB-T/DVB-C tunner as DVB-C !!! unfortunately the image does not provide support for this ! is there some tehnical reason or just this aspect was ignored ?

Well ..will see ! the difference is in the fact that ... I tested allmost all known implementations of Titan ! on IPBOX 910, K UFS912, Optibox Koala, Optibox Gekko and Amiko Alien ! the rest is just ... noise !

Well ... if somebody still own ufs910 ... for shure ! but the news shows that Titan will be available for other STB's ... not Fortis ! Even you dont like it ... Titan is the fastest Enigma2 like image !
