That is a negative for us because we are used to the Xtrend which displays the entire channel name with scrolling characters too. I don't think we could enjoy having just 4 digits the same as we do now. Even with a budget of £500.00 it's been so hard to make a decision based on what we need it for.

The reasons i haven't decided on this particular receiver is due to the limited information on the display, the constant bright logo light, the SSD fitting issues i've read about and also the black screen for 2/3 seconds in between each channel change.

i have the same problem with MP using the latest 6.4 image so i had to flash a different image and it works again. i will flash again the previous 6.3 image and see if it works.

@Googgi - i have tried this link many times but only the latest 6.4 image version is available. There is no older images than this one so 6.3 version is maybe not possible anymore.

Is it possible to flash a 6.3 image instead of 6.4? I ask because we have an Xtrend 9200 and it is not possible to flash from a usb the new 6.4 images. I am hoping that if i use 6.3 the MP will work again and we can access the GZ addons.

No, the MP was installed via the IPK file to the 'tmp' folder and installed via local extension. It was working previously without any issues. Previously, once MP was selected after pressing the 'info' button on the remote you were able to enter your PIN to access the addons but now when you press the 'info' button nothing happens. This means we cannot use MP anymore. We tried uninstalling then re-installing but still the same problem.

I don't know if they are the same. I just flashed an online update to the latest build (21/6) and it worked again. I've now had to flash a completely new image as the MP plugin cannot be accessed using the HDF image anymore.

There is one problem when using the Mediaportal plugin. When pressing the 'info' button nothing happens anymore so access to the addons is not possible. Is there a reason for it? Before the info button would access the GZ adons now nothing happens. Very much appreciate any help.

UPDATE: Updated the image via 'Online flash' to the latest version and now the EPG is working again.

It would be very helpful to know why we cannot read an EPG for any current or 'Next' channels...because we never know what film is on any channel unless the name of the film is in english. Also, because we cannot read the EPG for any channels we can not access the TMBD details to read in English about the film.

Hello, please can you help me. Every time i try to use the EPG using the HDF image i cannot read the EPG. If i press the 'i' (info) button on my remote nothing happens and if i press the 'Guide' button i get an error and the receiver reboots. Is there another way to look through the next programs for each channel and read the EPG info? Thank you for your help.
