I do not get an image, so I can't get into any menus.... Leave it empty as in write it but nothing/leave empty after sign = or?

Btw: fstab mounting - in Win7 I abolished the password protected sharing over my home network, and it works in E2 like that no problem, if mounted via Mount Manager... Can it work in Neutrino like that and what, if anything, should I write to fstab in that case (no username/password), please? Exactly, please...?? Thanx!

Echhhhhh... After all this effort of yours, giving info, I was really looking forward to testing the new spark7162_BASE-rev5884_NHD2e-rev1548_flash!!! Alas, I have to inform you that all that failed because once it is finished, the installation never gives any image whatsoever.... Flashed three times with the same result, much to my distress... LCD gives "3SAT HD" and - nada/zilch/zippo/nichts! Since my TV goes a bit darker it means it does not recognise any signal from the HDMI cable.... Sorry,…

No worries, m8, I have no beef with you... I already told you that in your version the tuner bit is fine, one can scan and even if not perfect - it's doing the job! In MP no can do. I couldn't even change the list via FTP, so go figure... Lots of signal but "Scan failure", 100% of times. Mad, I tell you! Anyway, I'll try your new version tonight and report back, I hope... Then, it's time for E2 again, I think... More open to "the other"... P.S. Any chance of fstab syntax to mount NFS and CIFS sh…

No, m8, sorry, you misunderstood. Sadly, much to my dismay, Neutrino lacks the full functionality and stability of Enigma2. That is what I mean. If one wants to improve, then one must compare with the best or at least the least crappy in the area. Linux kernel is the same, so why can't one ask the awkward questions as to what happpened to this, that or the other, why is it not working, can it be done, please? The presumption, of course, is that the team that writes it wants to hear from us, want…

Thomas, leave it out, you will do yourself an injury...

DBoxOldie, I sincerely thank you and your gallant crew for your enthusiastic efforts! I for one SERIOUSLY APPRECIATE these projects!!! Honestly speaking, however, Neutrino of all flavours needs a substantial improvement in many areas, if we are to have full functionality on the E2 level! If ever I win a lottery, sell well some of my music or marry a millionaires I wow to pay (well!!!) a few top programmers for a year or three to work full time on the many problems Neutrino HD has - and give away…

Since I managed to mess up my installation somehow and since Thomas posted this one, I presumed this is urgent... So, let's test quickly, before I have to leave... Download it from here: familienforum.biz/DB/index.php…ryFileDownload&fileID=235 > called enigma2-7162-19-6-2013 Before I start let me say that it is confusing to keep putting "enigma2" into the name of a Neutrino file... That, in my opinion, should be dropped, as it is both confusing and I think a bit confused! Not helpful to newbies!…

Hmmm, the NHD2 version found even less channels - even considerably less - at 1819 or some such number (from memory, as I did it yesterday late)... I had problems deleting stuff in channels list, again... only I had more success with the other version in DUAL NHD... I tried scanning for channels and found some missing TPs. A special problem (no signal): Hot Bird 13A 12539.00H91EuropeDVB-S2 PLS: Root+88PSK ACM/VCM Stream 127500 2/3Mediaset5, In 8PSK one needs 2/3, not 3/2, as it is in the extra p…

Quickly: NFS shared folders via home network problem persists and CIFS folders I get but when I try playing A-V files all I get is sound - no image (Codec: MS MPEG-4 Video v3 (DIV3))... Scanning of HB went less well than in E2 - 2009 channels, while E2 in the same STB finds 2155... I swear this image (the first one that comes up of the two included, works better on $ly IT than E2 in F500HD (CS)... Smooth as a baby's bottom... However, no full functionality, like E2 - lots of frustrations... and …

Sorry, what is the difference between "BASE" and "DUAL" images, please? Installation is the same? P.S. I can't test for a few hours and I am itching, so I must ask...

I can't see it: Quellcode (6 Zeilen) But I succeeded with your FTP advice!

P.S. I get nothing, more or less, when I put the two "names" you pointed to (Firefox with G.)...

Thanx, m8! I will wait for your version! Can you additionally explain a bit, please, the differences re. which version is what type, please? Maybe it's the language but I am now unsure which version does what, of the two you mentioned... EDIT: I have these two links for those two flavours of Neutrino HD image.familienforum.biz/7162/mp/ image.familienforum.biz/7162/nhd2/ Cheers!

Hi, guys! Any chance of a cool new version to test, please? Thanx!
-
Hehe, many things could be better, from CS to streaming and onwards... What have you got in mind, m8? Really, not me, a coder!
-
Not me, m8! I am an IT lay person, I assure you! I come from Humanities and I have never been IT educated... So, I do not like to push myself where I do not belong... I can do other things in the hobby - carefully test and compare, for one thing, write good feedback, ask good questions etc. See if it helps...

Thanx, Oldie! Zitat von DboxOldie: „Why a so called mount manager ? If the values in the menu are right, or using the telnet command with the right values : it MUST work, otherwise there is something wrong A mount manager like in E2 uses at least always the same functions of busybox or the automounter with autofs. When I mount my win2008 server ( nfs Service ) it works, also when I mount a share from another STB where the nfs Server was activated. “ Well, I have an otherwise wonderful Linux base…

Sadly, I can't get them back, even with this... Somebody mentioned adding pinging to the Mount Manager... Could anyone from the Neutrino bunch do it, please? Cheers! P.S. How's it progressing, Oldie?

Thanx! Could you give us, lay people, the correct line/command to mount it that way, please? Cheers, m8! P.S. How's the image progressing?
