The Firmware itself is rather the same.

As Answer of your question: you can not flash a GM Firmware on a Alien for example, that is not allowed (security reason).
Every Resellerbox has its own STB-model-ID, you can see it here: Fulan-Modell Linux-ST7111: Liste der Reseller-Boxen
During the Upgrade this ID is checked, so you can not flash a wrong firmware as a mistake :thumbup:
