Black screen while zapping channels

When changing channels (zapping) the current picture will freeze until the next channel is displayed. Is it possible to display a blank/black screen from the moment you press the button to change channel, until the next channel opens? And if so, which steps do I have to do?

Yo can change this inside settings - gui - channel settings.
There is a point called Zap mode on the second side. Just scroll down please.

And just another question. Do you have flashed an actual image on your dream7020?
Do you have version v1 or v2? Do you have any problems with booting the box?
Can you also try the image 6.2?

Thanks, I tried the zap mode, but still the picture of the current stream is frozen until the next channels opens without black screen.

I have OpenHDF 5.5 installed. No problems with booting the box

Hmm this is very old. We are currently at 6.1 and 6.2 beta.
I don't know if you want to try it. Some peoples have problems with booting the box.

Maybe I will try it next month in my holiday. Will 6.1 or 6.2 still support ci plus 1.2 / 1.3?

Actually, I want to stay at 5.5.228 as it works fine expect the zapmode. Do you have the files which I could replace for zapmode so I can stay at 5.5.228? Thanks!

Just tried OpenHDF 6.1, but the Dreambox doesn't boot, so it doesn't work for me.
Also tried the latest build of Newnigma2 and it works, also there's a black screen between changing channels (zapping).
However, I like HDF more because it has the cable scan method with Network-ID for DVB-C tuners.
So, could you do a little patch for me for OpenHDF 5.5 so it also shows a black screen between channel change as it works fine for the remaning parts?

No sorry. The support for 5.5 have ended.

We don't know it. Nobody from team have this box to try it. Thats currently our problem with this box.
And nobody can create a debug log with serial from this box.

Is it very difficult to do a little patch for me for 5.5 then in the meantime even it's an older build?
Then I'm very happy and can move on

Getting version 6.1 working on DM7020HD will come later.
If you do a patch for 5.5, in return I could test 6.1 when needed in the near future, which I actually already did for now.

By the way, what's the first build of OpenHDF which you build-in support for zapmode (black screen) which also is compatible with Dreambox?

This mode is inside since the first HDF build.
