I have tried to stream tv channels in the past from by setup box to my pc and everything worked fine. However it seems that I can't stream anything at the moment using openwebinf and VLC, does anyone have similar issues??

it looks like a bug from openwebinf....

Yes, I am trying to stream to the local network , I am sure the connection between my pc and the setupbox is fine, I have an IP and I can telnet to the port where the stream is coming (TCP 8001). It works a few times, sometimes works perfectly , other times with breaks and normally doesn't work at all,this is why i suspect there is a bug somewhere, any good ideas to debug what openwebinf is doing wrong?

I am also sure the connection between the PC and the box is fast (gigabit ethernet) ...

openwebinf is working fine in any browser, the part not working very good is the streaming from openwebinf to VLC in my pc.
