Hi all,
I'm using the latest HDMU image on a Golden Media Triplex box. I want to use the minidlna server to stream recorded movies to my DLNA capable TV set. The minidlna server is working correctly and I can indeed stream already available recordings to my Samsung TV. However, when making a new recording on the GMT, it will never show up via DLNA. Apparently the minidlna file database is not updated.
For your information. I disabled iNotify in minidlna.conf since the the minidlna log file reported that iNotify is not implemented. I expected however that after a certain amount of time (typically 900 seconds) the movie directory is scanned again, which is apparently not happening. The only way I found to update the database is by deleting it (files.db) and then restarting the minidlna server. Minidlna will recreate files.db and fill it with all files in the watched folders. Of course this is not a very practical solution.
Anybody any idea?
Thanks,
SatelliteFeak
P.S. I apologize for writing in English, writing in German is too much of a challenge for me. My German reading is no problem, by the way.
